Arshad Warsi in a comic-thriller

Be it summer or monsoon, the audience are always ready for some comedy time. Everyone loved the last 2012 movie OMG: Oh My God! directed by Umesh Shukla. People would definitely want some more of such humour and so filmmaker Umesh is getting set to entertain the audiences again.

Umesh Shukla will team up with noted Marathi writer-director-actor Girish Joshi to direct a comic thriller featuring Arshad Warsi in the lead. The film has been penned by Bhavesh Mandalia, who also wrote the script for OMG: Oh My God!

Umesh Shukla's 2009 film Dhoondte Reh Jaoge was also a comedy drama but it didn't work well. OMG: Oh My God! was a huge comeback for him. The film featured Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Mithun Chakraborty in the lead roles. This film which is a remake of an Australian film called The Man Who Sued God also won a national award.

The director is very happy to have Arshad Warsi who had a recent hit Jolly LLB. "I'm very excited about the project. While I share a great comfort level with Bhavesh Mandalia, I look forward to working with Arshad Warsi, who in my opinion is extremely talented," Shukla said.

Umesh Shukla will produce the film as well. Reportedly, Paresh Rawal has been approached for the yet-to-be-titled film.
