Guess What Made Deepika Padukone Come Alive As Leela?

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has painted the town red with her recently released song 'Nagada Sang Dhol Baje' from Ram Leela. Director of the film Sanjay Leela Bhansali tells us that that the audiences will get to see Deepika Padukone in her most beautiful on-screen avatar till date.

Sanjay, who is known for creating unforgettable images of his leading ladies has already created a buzz about Deepika Padukone who will be Leela in his next film. Deepika is a Gujarati girl in the film and Bhansali wanted to keep her look as natural as possible.

Deepika tells us that attention to detail is what made her character come alive in the film. "Apart from the fact that he is one of the most celebrated directors, Sanjay sir has always been known for the way he presents his heroines. So, other than getting to work with him, I was excited about my look in the film. His attention to detail, combined with Anju's (designer) creative brilliance, helped Leela come alive," said Deepika.

Her make up was minimal and her hairstyling was never over done was this movie with an epic love story. We hear that Bhansali even travelled to the interiors of Gujarat to get fabrics for Deepika's outfits. Ram Leela will hit the theatres on November 15. Do come back for more updates on the film.
