Why Did Deepika Padukone Decline A Role In Fast And Furious 7?

We recently reported to you that Bollywood's trending actress Deepika Padukone was finalised for a role in the Hollywood movie Fast and Furious 7. We know that most of you were excited to see her make a Hollywood debut but sadly that is not going to happen anytime soon. We have the latest news that Deepika will not be part of the seventh installment of Fast and Furious due to time constraints.

As of now, the 27-year-old actress is currently shooting for Farah Khan's Happy New Year and also started promoting her forthcoming film titled Ram Leela. Her official spokesperson recently confirmed that Deepika has declined the offer from Hollywood., "Deepika was offered to be a part of the next Fast and Furious movie. She is a huge fan of the franchise and it's disappointing not to be able to do it. Unfortunately, the movie goes on the floors immediately and that left too short a time for her to shift her existing date commitments to the producers of Ram Leela, Happy New Year and Finding Fanny Fernandes," the spokesperson said.

Earlier when there was a buzz about Deepika's Hollywood debut, we had also heard that Deepika had beaten Chitrangada Singh and Kangna Ranaut in the screen tests for the role in Fast And Furious 7. However, Deepika only wants to concentrate on what is happening. "I think a lot has been said. I have never been comfortable to talk about what doesn't happen, I rather focus on what is happening," said Deepika Padukone.
