Last
week,
Deepika
Padukone
hosted
a
party
at
her
sprawling
pad
in
Prabhadevi
to
mark
the
success
of
her
latest
blockbuster,
Yeh
Jawaani
Hai
Deewani
(YJHD).
And
now
the
actor
already
has
plans
to
party
again.
"Deepika,
who
is
thrilled
with
the
response
that
the
film
is
getting,
announced
at
the
party
that
once
her
film
crosses
the
Rs
150
cr
mark,
she
will
host
another
bash
for
the
cast
and
crew.
So
now
all
of
us
are
waiting
with
bated
breath
for
the
film
to
cross
that
point
since
she
is
a
great
host," says
an
insider
from
the
film's
crew.
At
the
time
of
going
to
press,
YJHD
had
made
a
total
of
Rs
143
cr.
With
this
massive
figure,
YJHD
has
surpassed
the
overall
collection
of
the
Salman
Khan-starrer
Dabangg
(2010),
which
made
roughly
Rs
140
cr
in
India
during
its
four-week
Box
Office
run.
The
film
has
also
beaten
the
collections
of
other
big
earners
such
as
Rowdy
Rathore
(2012),
Jab
Tak
Hai
Jaan
(
2012),
Ready
(
2011)
and
Agneepath
(
2012)
.
"Of
course,
Deepika
is
happy
with
the
earnings,
but
what
she's
happier
about
is
that
her
performance
has
been
appreciated,"
adds
the
insider.
That's
probably
why
filmmaker
Imtiaz
Ali
is
now
keen
to
cast
the
ex-lovers.
Despite
repeated
attempts,
Deepika
remained
unavailable
for
a
comment.
