Deepika Padukone Saves A Child Despite Protesters Against Ram Leela

Bollywoood actress Deepika Padukone recently visited Ahmedabad to be part of the promotional activities for her upcoming movie Ram Leela. During this event, when the entire crowd was out of control, Deepika stepped in to rescue child who was stuck in between people who seemed to not notice the little one.

This incident took place when Deepika was at a garba event promoting Ram Leela. This movie which has an epic love story has been facing a lot of protests from the Rajput community as the claim the content to cause disputes and enmity between communities.

When Deepika visited Ahmedabad, there were many Rajputs who protested against her due to her upcoming film. Nearly 40 from the community were even detained by the police. We now hear that some of the protesters had even fully prepared to pelt eggs and tomatoes at Ram Leela's leading actress Deepika Padukone. Somehow, this awful behaviour did not take place as the protesters were informed that the offensive content has been removed and the film has been edited.

Despite all these protests, Deepika did not hesitate to save the little child who was there with no family member nearby. A source explains the situation to us. "Everyone was trying their best to catch a glimpse of Deepika, not realising that a child was getting smothered in the middle," said the source.

Deepika then took the child to a less crowded place and asked her team to find the parents of the kid. "Since she couldn't spot them around the area, she asked her team to find them," the source added.
