Deepika Padukone signed YJHD before reading script, courtesy ex-beau Ranbir

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's past affair is not a mystery any longer to us. But, that's not the end of their relationship. Now, Dippy and Ranbir are good friends, but not lovers. And thanks to their good friendship and bonding, which made Deepika sign the film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, even before reading the script.

In the past few interviews, we have witnessed both Ranbir and Deepika all praise for each other. Talking to a leading daily, the actress revealed the reason behind she signing the film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. According to Dippy, she agreed to do Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani without reading the script, since her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor was there in the movie and that she had faith in director Ayan Mukherji.

Deepika further said that, she and Ranbir have become much matured as actors. A while ago, the actress had said that their first film Bachna Ae Haseeno did not do any justice to their onscreen pairing. But, if things go well with the audience, YJHD will give a new name to their relationship and the audience would love their onscreen pairing, post break up.
