In Pics: Oops, Deepika Padukone turned down Salman Khan!

Unlike her contemporaries, Deepika Padukone is one such Bollywood actress, who achieved fame and success at a very young age. Dippy, who had debuted opposite Shahrukh Khan in Om Shanti Om, revealed that Salman Khan had spotted her way before, when she did her first Liril and Close Up ads.

Talking to a leading daily, Deepika Padukone told that Salman Khan was the one who had offered her a film, even before Farah Khan. But surprisingly, Dippy turned down his offer, reason given that she was too young and unclear about her "about which profession to choose at that time".

Deepika, who has turned 27 years old last week, expressed her desire to work with Salman Khan. "I want to work in a romantic film with him, a nice love story," the actress told the daily. She also revealed her growing fondness for Sallu.
