Ranbir Kapoor signed by Disney for 'Jagga Jasoos'

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is basking in the success of his recent release Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, has been signed by Disney for Jagga Jasoos franchise. The actor will start shooting for Jagga Jasoos from September next year.

The movie Jagga Jasoos will be co-produced by Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor's new production company known as Picture Shuru.

According to a statement to IANS, "The movie's shooting is scheduled for next year, till then Anurag, Ranbir and UTV will work together on developing the script for the first and the second part, as well as work on pre-production for that film."

Rumour has it that Ranbir Kapoor, Anurag Basu, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur last week finalised everything related to Jagga Jasoos franchise.

The trio - Ranbir Kapoor, Anurag Basu and UTV last year gave critically and commercially successful film Barfi.

Well, we would love to see Ranbir Kapoor as Jagga Jasoos!
