A welcome change for Emraan, Ek Thi Daayan gets U/A certificate

It's certainly a "welcome change" for actor Emraan Hashmi, whose upcoming movie Ek Thi Daayan has got a U/A certification. Since most of Hashmi's movies are 'A' certified, the actor seems quite happy with the new change.

"Probably, this ('Ek Thi Daayan') is my second or third film with U/A certificate, but it's a welcome change," Emraan told the IANS. "As it is said that with U/A certificate, the audience increases by 15 to 20 percent. It's great to somewhere capitalise through the content of this film, so that a larger audience embraces this film," he added.

Co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj, Ek Thi Daayan also stars Kalki Koechlin, Konkona Sen Sharma and Huma Qureshi. The movie is a supernatural horror film. "I just want to say that this film in many ways takes an extremely different step towards supernatural horror. I think its a film that will grow, its a film that will people love for its story, for its content," Emraan said.
