Guess Whose Autobiography Is Gori Tere Pyaar Mein Based On?

Since a few pictures of the upcoming movie Gori Tere Pyaar Mein have been released, the internet has been buzzing with this movie which stars Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan. Through the recently launched trailer, we got a glimpse of the entertainer that is in store for us. Now we have the latest news that Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is an autobiography of director Punit Malhotra.

This latest news was revealed by the producer of the movie Karan Johar. The movie's plot revolves around a guy who travels all the way to a village from the city to win his love. Karan said, "Today, we are making a revelation. Very honestly, this is a true story. It happened to Punit. He did actually lose a relationship."

In the upcoming movie, Kareena Kapoor plays Imran Khan's former girlfriend and a social worker. Similar to how Imran follows Kareena in the movie, we hear that the director too experienced a very similar story. "He tried to pursue this girl, he crossed a few parts of the country to reach the heartland to woo the woman. She is now married and settled with children," Karan revealed.

"This is an autobiographical film. Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is Punit's love story. He never shared the details, but we know there was a girl," added Karan Johar. This awaited movie will hit the theatres on November 22 this year. Do come back to us for more updates on the film.
