in
a
legal
tussle
with
ICICI
bank,
which
has
claimed
that
the
makers
of
the
movie
had
not
sought
out
their
permission
prior
to
showing
the
name
and
banner
of
the
bank.
The
movie
which
is
already
embroiled
in
many
a
controversies
regarding
the
adult
content
shown
in
the
movie
has
now
another
obstacle
to
face
before
it
releases.
The
court
has
ordered
the
movie
makers
to
refrain
from
using
the
name
and
banner
of
the
bank
until
further
notice.
Furthermore
Justice
ML
Mehta
has
also
issued
notice
to
the
director
and
producers
of
the
movie.
The
bank
and
its
staff
has
been
shown
in
a
poor
light
in
the
trailer
of
the
movie
when
a
robbery
is
taking
place,
argued
senior
advocate
Sanjay
Jain,
who
was
representing
the
ICICI
bank.
He
further
added
that
the
ICICI
bank
has
its
own
registered
trademark
and
the
makers
should
have
taken
permission
from
the
bank
before
using
their
banner.
Sanjay
Jain
said
that
the
manner
in
which
the
name
of
the
bank
is
used
in
the
trailer
is
damaging
to
the
reputation
of
the
esteemed
bank.
ICICI
bank
wants
the
makers
to
remove
the
objectionable
visuals
from
the
movie.
Grand
Masti
is
the
sequel
to
the
2004
hit
comedy
Masti
and
it
has
the
same
male
cast
as
its
prequel.
The
movie
is
scheduled
to
hit
the
theaters
on
September
13.
