The

Indian
Film
Academy
(IIFA)
weekend
and
awards
is
all
set
to
kick
off
on
July
4
in
Macao.
There
are
a
lot
of
expectations
this
year
as
it
also
celebrates
100
years
of
Indian
Cinema.
It
will
be
a
fusion
of
the
old
and
new,
glamour
and
gold
all
on
one
stage.
It
is
going
to
be
mix
of
performances
by
a
range
of
Bollywood
stars
including
Sridevi,
Abhishek
Bachchan,
Sushant
Singh
Rajput,
Deepika
Padukone,
Ayushmann
Khurrana
and
Parineeti
Chopra.
There
is
a
buzz
about
dancing
diva,
Madhuri
Dixit
making
her
debut
on
the
IIFA
stage
in
this
14th
edition.
The
show
is
going
to
be
co-hosted
by
Shah
Rukh
Khan
and
Shahid
Kapoor.
The
stage
will
reflect
the
current
trend
of
co-existence
in
the
tinsel
town.
IIFA
is
organised
by
Wizcraft
International
Entertainment
Pvt
Ltd
which
is
one
of
India's
premier
event
management
and
entertainment
agencies.

is

one
of
Bollywood's
grandest
shows
is
going
to
make
fans
go
gaga
over
the
performances
this
year.
The
performances
are
going
to
be
'sweet
and
magical'.
You
have
the
big
names
of
Indian
cinema
like
Shah
Rukh
Khan,
Abhishek
Bachchan,
Deepika
Padukone,
Madhuri
Dixit,
Sridevi
and
Prabhu
Deva
all
on
the
same
stage.
And
also
the
younger
talent
like
Ayushmann,
Sushant
Singh
Rajput
and
Parineeti
Chopra.
All
of
them
will
hold
fort
at
the
same
place.
It
will
be
an
exciting,
pulsating
and
magical
show,"
he
added.
He
promised
that
IIFA
will
be
a
complete
package.
The
Bachchan
family
makes
a
return
to
IIFA
this
year
which
is
held
at
the
Venetian
Macao.
The
main
awards
ceremony
which
will
be
held
on
Saturday
will
see
different
kinds
of
films
competing
against
each
other.
Barfi
tops
the
nomination
list
with
13
nominations,
following
this
is
Vicky
Donor
with
nine
nominations.
Anurag
Kashyap's
Gangs
of
Wasseypur-
Part
I
and
Karan
Johar's
Agneepath
too
have
good
number
of
nominations.
The
entertainment
quotient
at
IIFA
will
belong
to
IIFA
Rocks
presented
Grey
Goose,
a
fashion
and
music
event,
which
promises
to
attract
Bollywood
buffs
with
the
'magic
of
movies'.
This
is
to
be
held
on
July
5
with
performances
like
Jacqueline
Fernandez,
Sonu
Sood,
Sophie
Choudry,
Arjun
Kapoor,
Dia
Mirza,
Hussain
Kuwajerwala
and
Gauhar
Khan.
IIFA
Rocks
will
be
hosted
by
Boman
Irani
and
Vir
Das,
who
will
also
been
seen
promoting
their
upcoming
film
"Santa
Banta".
"There
will
be
star
power
which
will
be
relevant
for
the
next
100
years.
At
the
same
time,
we
will
explore
and
capture
the
magic
of
the
movies.
There
will
be
music,
dance,
heroes
and
heroines.
We
will
do
it
in
a
fun
way
and
relevant
way
which
the
audience
will
understand
and
comprehend," said

IIFA

going
women
centric
this
time.
It
is
backing
a
social
cause
of
women
empowerment
and
it
will
pursue
under
the
programme
'Power
of
49'.
Bollywood
has
been
doing
its
bit
by
giving
women
and
women-oriented
scripts
an
outstanding
space.
Veteran
actress
Shabana
Azmi
explains
the
idea
behind
'49',
"Forty
nine
percent
is
the
figure
of
the
women
we
have
in
our
country
today
and
as
a
nation
we
can
call
ourselves
civilised
if
this
49
percent
gets
empowered."
