Jiah Khan's Suicide: Shahrukh Khan says respect life

Mumbai: Superstar Shahrukh Khan, who launched the trailer of his most anticipated film Chennai Express on Thursday, said in relation to Bollywood actress Jiah Khan's suicide that it is important to respect life more than love.

At the trailer launch of his movie, Shahrukh Khan told reporters, "Everyone has different definition of love. Love is a universal thing. I play the role of a lover which are written by a set of people, it is their interpretation of love. But I feel we should respect life more than love."


Shahrukh Khan added, "There are going to be difficult times in everyone's life, but one must not give up, and respect life. Every problem will be sorted out, don't lose hope. There are no boundaries or no limits when it comes to love, but let not love become more important than life... then everything will be sorted."

Jiah Khan, committed suicide last week by hanging herself. It is said that her failed relation with boyfriend Suraj Pancholi made her take such an extreme step.
