Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan did many movies together in the past. But when the news of their alleged affair came out in the public, the two started avoiding each other. However, after a gap of twelve long years, Kareena has said yes to do a film opposite Hrithik Roshan.
The famous Agneepath duo-Karan Johar and Karan Malhotra are very happy with the fact that they have managed to convince both Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor to do their next film Shuddhi. Earlier, it was said that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Priyanka Chopra will play the main female lead in the movie. But now Karan has confirmed that they have finalised Kareena for Shuddhi.
Confirming the news, Karan Johar told a leading daily, "I'm excited to see Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor back after 12 years. When Karan Malhotra came to me with Shuddhi, his desire was to cast Hrithik and Kareena. I spoke to both of them and they were happy to be on board. The film is an intense love story. Kareena is beautiful, talented and a powerhouse performer. And Hrithik, well, what can I say? He can melt a nation just with his eyes.''
