Creating
a
movie
which
is
a
period
drama
is
never
easy.
And
for
Vikramaditya
Motwane
it
was
more
difficult
as
1950s
was
an
era
when
things
changed
dramatically
in
India.
Things
got
even
more
difficult
when
according
to
Lootera's
script
Ranveer
Singh's
character
needed
to
ride
an
Ariel
bike
that
stopped
manufacturing
after
the
year
1960.
There
are
about
only
3
or
4
Ariel
motorcycle
in
the
entire
India.
And
most
of
them
are
with
connoisseurs
who
wouldn't
part
way
with
their
bikes
whatever
the
cost
is.
But
somehow
the
director
arranged
the
bike
for
the
movie.
Ranveer
Singh,
while
shooting
Lootera,
fell
in
love
with
the
motorcycle.
He
says
that
the
bike
is
a
delight
to
ride
and
the
fact
it
is
so
rare
adds
to
its
charm.
Ranveer
Singh
made
a
special
request
to
the
director
of
the
movie
that
if
he
could
keep
the
motorcyle
after
the
shoot.
He
personally
enjoyed
riding
it.
Lootera
also
stars
Sonakshi
Sinha
and
is
expected
to
release
in
July
2013.
