Mahesh Bhatt to play Aditya Roy Kapoor's father in Aashiqui 2

For the first time, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt will be lending his voice in the upcoming film Aashiqui 2. Neither will Bhatt nor act, yet we'll get to hear him in the film.

Reportedly, Mahesh Bhatt will play Aditya Roy Kapoor's father in the film. Though he won't make his presence visible in the movie, we will get to hear only his voice. "I play Aditya's father. But I am not acting in the film. You won't see me. I have given my voice for two scenes. He has a phone conversation with his father and my voice can be heard," Bhatt told the IANS.

A while ago, Bhatt had claimed that Aashiqui 2 will be a family entertainer. Directed by Mohit Suri, Aashiqui 2 also stars Shradha Kapoor. A co-production of T-Series and Vishesh Films, the musical drama is scheduled to release on April 26.
