Pictures: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wears golden saree at Cannes

Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently attended the amfAR's (The American Foundation for AIDS Research) 20th Annual Cinema Against AIDS gala event at the 66th Cannes film festival.

At the gala event, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore a golden colour saree designed by Tarun Tahiliani. It is said that, Aish specially extended her stay in the French Riviera, in order to attend the fashion show for amFar.

Aishwarya has been a supporter of AIDS research. She had attended the amFar gala last year as well and wore an Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla outfit for that event.

This is Aishwarya Rai Bachchans' 12th appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. She first attended Cannes for the premiere of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas. This year she is accompanied by her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and mother Vrinda Rai.
