Shahrukh Khan, who is shooting for Rohit Shetty's Chennai Express, arranged a special birthday party for the 40 year old director. Shahrukh secretly planned the bash at a hotel and also sent an invitation to Rohit's family.

After pack up, the cast and crew of Chennai Express went to sleep, but Shahrukh knocked on Rohit's door and asked him to go on a walk. Shahrukh took him into a room where the team of the movie and Rohit's family were present.

Shahrukh Khan is famous for giving expensive gifts to his friends and loved ones. According to recent reports, SRK has gifted an ED Hardy bike to Rohit Shetty on his birthday.

A source told a daily, "It was a classy affair. The entire cast and crew were invited and SRK's co-star Deepika Padukone was also present. SRK had made sure that none of the unit members informed Rohit about the party. SRK pulled everyone onto the dance floor. Rohit, who normally calls it a day early, was also seen enjoying the party till quite late in the night."
