Filmmaker
Prakash
Jha's
upcoming
movie
Satyagraha
is
one
of
the
most-awaited
films
of
the
year.
The
movie
has
been
in
the
news
ever
since
it
was
conceptualised,
especially
for
its
heavy-weight
star
cast
like
Amitabh
Bachchan,
Kareena
and
Ajay
Devgn.
The
latest
we
hear
is
that
the
film
Satyagraha
will
see
as
many
as
1,500
Bhopal
residents
in
the
film
and
director
Prakash
Jha
says
a
two-month
special
workshop
was
held
to
train
them.
"Yes,
we
held
workshops
for
the
locals
for
about
two
months.
These
acting
workshops
were
necessary.
I'm
really
happy
with
how
they
have
been
contributing
to
my
Satyagraha.
It's
fantastic
to
see
their
energy
and
enthusiasm
for
the
film," Jha
told
the
IANS.
As
per
reports,
Kareena
Kapoor
will
be
playing
the
role
of
a
journalist
in
Satyagraha
and
she
will
be
seen
interviewing
Amitabh
Bachchan
onscreen.
Jha
has
visualised
Kareena's
role
as
that
of
a
reporter
who
keeps
a
tab
on
the
entire
movement
and
reports
at
the
international
level.
Reportedly,
Amitabh
Bachchan
is
playing
social
activist
Anna
Hazare
in
the
movie.
