Priyanka Chopra Donates Rs 5 Million In Her Dad's Memory

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has reportedly donated Rs 5 Million to build a cancer ward in a suburban hospital in Mumbai in the memory of her late father Ashok Chopra.

Her father, Ashok Chopra passed away a few months back and this was a a big loss for PC as she was very close her dad. This sad demise took place in the month of June. Priyanka's father died due to cancer. So, now the actress is up to help out a lot of other patients who are suffering from this same disease by funding for a new cancer ward.


In a recent interview, Priyanka had revealed that she has not yet dealt with the loss and she does not like to talk much about her dad yet. This donation is a big step from Priyanka Chopra. It shows that she is coming to terms with her dear daddy's death and she wants to help cancer patients in her father's name.

We hear that the 31-year-old actress will also be present to inaugurate the hospital. The hospital's spokesperson has told us that they will be inaugurating a particular ward in the name and memory of the late Dr Ashok Chopra who was a physician for the Indian Army.
