PC Pays Tribute To Jaya Bachchan In Zanjeer Remake

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra will be seen reprising the legendary Jaya Bachchan's role of Mala in the upcoming movie Zanjeer remake. Hence, it is a challenge for PC to fit into the shoes of such a great actress like Jaya Bachchan in her upcoming flick.

Ever since Priyanka Chopra has been signed for Mala's role in Zanjeer remake, people have been wondering if the former can do justice to Mrs senior Bachchan's character in the film. Priyanka told us that Jaya Bachchan played the role of a 'chaku churi wali' in the Big B's original Zanjeer. But, unlike Jaya, Priyanka will be seen playing the role of a journalist in the remake. But, the actress also claims that there's something common between her and Jayaji in the upcoming movie.

According to PC, in one of the scenes in the remake, she will be seen taking out a big knife. And reportedly she did this particular scene just to pay a tribute to Jaya Bachchan.
