Mumbai:
Recently,
rumours
were
doing
the
rounds
that
Salman
Khan
had
rejected
the
script,
written
by
Chetan
Bhagat
for
the
movie
Kick.
Author
Chetan
Bhagat,
who
is
debuting
as
a
scriptwriter
in
Bollywood,
was
upset
with
these
reports.
He
says
that
he
has
not
even
met
the
actor
for
the
film
and
yet
to
complete
the
script.
Few
days
back,
a
leading
daily
had
quoted
a
source
as
saying
that
Chetan
Bhagat
had
met
Salman
along
with
Sajid
Nadiadwala,
with
the
first
draft
of
the
script
of
Kick.
After
a
while,
Salman
Khan
had
stopped
flipping
the
pages
and
said
that
he
didn't
find
the
script
very
engaging.
Perplexed
by
the
rumour,
Chetan
Bhagat
clarified
by
saying
that
he
hasn't
even
met
Salman
regarding
Kick
and
the
script
of
the
movie
is
yet
to
be
completed.
He
is
working
only
with
Sajid
Nadiadwala
and
his
team
on
the
script.
He
also
said
it
would
be
best
if
Nadiadwala
clarifies
about
this
issue,
as
a
source
close
to
the
project
divulged
that
Salman
is
in
a
completely
non-interfering
mode.
IANS
quoted
a
source
as
saying,
"He
is
maintaining
a
hands-free
attitude
to
Kick.
It
is
true
that
nowadays
Salman
approves
of
every
department
in
his
starrer
-
from
script
to
director
to
cameraman
to
co-star,
before
a
project
takes
off.
But
Kick
is
entirely
his
buddy
Sajid
Nadiadwala's
baby
and
Salman
is
treating
it
that
way."
Kick
is
remake
of
2009
Telugu
film
of
the
same
name
which
starred
Ravi
Teja
and
Ileana
D'Cruz
in
the
lead.
The
Hindi
version
will
be
directed
by
Sajid
Nadiadwala
and
the
shooting
will
reportedly
start
from
June
1.
