Sanjay Dutt to make paper bags, will earn Rs 25 a day

serving
his
jail
term
in
Pune,
will
be
trained
to
make
paper
bags
at
the
Yerawada
Central
Jail.
Sanjay
will
get
Rs
25
a
day
for
this
work. Sanjay
Dutt
is
in
jail
for
three
years
as
he
was
held
guilty
by
the
supreme
court
in
1993
Mumbai
terror
attack.
A
jail
official
informed
a
daily
that
Sanjay
Dutt
will
get
a
special
training
to
make
high
quality,
heavy
duty
paper
bags
with
a
capacity
of
6-8
kg,
which
are
now
gradually
replacing
plastic
bags
in
the
market.
For
making
paper
bags,
Sanjay
will
get
daily
remuneration
of
Rs
25.
However,
depending
on
the
actors
skills
and
efficiency,
the
payment
could
be
increased
up
to
Rs
40
per
day.
Sanjay
Dutt
had
asked
the
jail
official
to
give
him
some
heavy
duty
work
which
can
help
his
body
to
stay
fit.
But
his
request
was
declined
keeping
the
security
reasons
in
mind.
