Shahid Kapoor Attends Iftar Party With Driver

In between schedules and shoots, Bollywood stars have been taking some time off from their hectic days for iftar parties. This Ramadan season is a mix of cinema and celebration for all. Actor Shahid Kapoor, who wrapped the shoot for his upcoming movie Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, joined the film's crew for an iftar party.
In this festive season, looks like Shahid Kapoor is in the mood to celebrate. A source close to the actor revealed, "This time around, while Shahid was shooting for his upcoming film Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, he joined the entire crew at the iftari on the last day of the shoot."

Shahid Kapoor, who is a half-Muslim himself makes sure he attends an iftari with his loyal employees every year. "Usually, each year Shahid attends an iftari with his staff members. One of Shahid's employees, fondly called Maamu, and his driver are Muslims and they have been with him from the start of his career," added the source.

The iftari tradition is a very special affair for the actor since childhood. "This was his first iftari of 2013 and Shahid was extremely happy that everyone got together on the last day of the shoot," the source added.
