By Sahaja

Ekta Kapoor's upcoming film Milan Talkies seems to be facing some trouble as quite a few actors have already turned down the project. Earlier we witnessed Priyanka Chopra turning down Milan Talkies and Shraddha Kapoor too had walked out of the project. Now we hear that it is Bollywood's chocolate boy Shahid Kapoor who has walked out of this Ekta Kapoor's upcoming film.

Milan Talkies is set to be helmed by Tigmanshu Dhulia under the banner of Balaji productions. Word is out that Shahid's exit also marks his departure from Ekta Kapoor movies.Rumour has it that Shahid took this call because of the allegations the production house faced for it's last movie Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Dobaara. He also does not like the way the house functions.

Initially the lead role of Milan Talkies was supposed to be played by Imran Khan. When he left the project, Shahid took over his place. With all these actors walking out of the project, we can see that Ekta's Milan Talkies is not progressing any further. Tanuj Garg, the CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures was asked on Shahid's exit from the movie, he replied, "This speculation needs to stop. We will make a formal announcement soon."

A source close to Shahid Kapoor tells us why Shahid quit Milan Talkies. "Shahid and Tigmanshu are very much in touch. While he is very keen to work with him, he doesn't like the way Balaji operates. He doesn't want to work with them," the source said.

"Instead of saying who they are taking and who they are throwing out, they should lie low and pull up their socks instead," the source opined.
