Shahrukh stands by close friend Priyanka in her tough times

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who is currently going through a rough phase of life due to her father critical health condition, gets a backing from good friend Shahrukh Khan. As per the reports, PC's father Dr Ashok Chopra is currently admitted at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He is in a "very critical condition", according to one of Priyanka's friends.

Reportedly, the cancer that struck the doctor a few years back has returned. It has been further reported by a leading daily that Dr Chopra has been put on a respirator, and his actress daughter has been on his side ever since. During this time of crisis, Shahrukh Khan dropped a visit to the hospital to meet PC and her family.

As per reports, Priyanka Chopra has now postponed all rehearsals for Omang Kumar's Mary Kom biopic. Till last week, when her father's condition deteriorated, Priyanka went about her work as normal. Only those close to her know what she's going through. Priyanka was attending the rehearsals for the Mary Kom biopic while attending to her father in her free time.
