A superstar can't take sick leave: Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan, who underwent a brain surgery recently at Mumbai's Hinduja hospital, says that a superstar like him can not afford to take a sick leave.

Hrithik Roshan got hurt while shooting an action sequence for his upcoming film Bang Bang, which also stars Katrina Kaif. The actor says that he made peace with the pain and has stopped assuming things. Hrithik in an interview to a leading daily also talked about the reason why a superstar cant take a sick leave. Hrithik said, "I can't afford to take sick leave. This, of course, throws a lot of lives of people very dear to me, completely out of track. But I cannot worry, that solves nothing. I have to focus on what can be. All I have to do is take a decision."

While rehearsing a scene for Bang Bang, Hrithik Roshan fell the wrong way and banged his head. However, the actor did not realise it immediately. After some days, the pain started and he took some pain killers, thinking it will get fine in three to four days. But the pain remained and Hrithik was diagnosed with chronic subdural haematoma later. He was admitted to the Hinduja Hospital immediately.
