Guess Who's Acting In Tanu Weds Manu Sequel?

The 2011 hit movie Tanu Weds Manu is all set take the story ahead with its sequel. The lead actors R Madhavan and Kangna Ranaut from the original will also be starring in its sequel.

This romantic comedy will be directed by Aanand L Rai. Tanu Weds Manu was the love story of an NRI and a feisty girl (Kangna) from Uttar Pradesh. Where Kangna played the role of a girl who does not believe in arrange marriages and wants to settle down with her lover played by Jimmy Shergill. Later she falls in love with Madhavan.

Earlier, it was rumoured that Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma were being cast as the lead actors in the film. However, the filmmaker denies it and confirms the presence of the original lead actors in the second installment as well.

"There is a sequel, its in the system. The plan is still on. I don't know when it will go on floors. If its happening it will happen with same star cast - Madhavan and Kangna will go ahead with the franchise. The film is incomplete without them," said Aanand Rai.

While talking about this sequel, Rai also assured that there is no scope of a sequel to the recently released romantic drama called Raanjhanaa. "For me the film is over. I don't think I can make a sequel to it now. Whatever we wanted to tell we have told it all," Rai said about Raanjhanaa.
