And for this role, Farhan has worked day and night to get into the character of the legendary runner, Milkha Singh. But the one thing that Farhan has learned the most from Milkha Singh is the power of forgiveness.

Farhan Akhtar is getting praises from every corner of the nation for playing the role of Milkha Singh so brilliantly, on screen. Talking about the great sprinter, Farhan told a leading website in an interview that he was amazed by Milkha's spirit. Farhan added, "What I learned the most is the power of forgiveness. Milkhaji taught me that you couldn't move on in life with the baggage of negativity and ill will. You cant be the Flying Sikh with that entire burden. So, in a way the running is a metaphor for an unburdened spirit of forgiveness."

Directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has earned Rs 32.08 crores approximately in its very first weekend. The film is still going strong at the Box-Office. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag also stars Sonam Kapoor and Divya Dutta in the lead roles.
