Bollywood actress Jiah Khan, who was just 25 year old, committed suicide last night by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her room. It is said that she was depressed for a very long time due to personal issues. Actor Kaamal R Khan has claimed that Jiah committed suicide because of her boyfriend.

It was Jiah Khan's mother who first saw her dead body in the morning. The incident happened around 11 pm on Monday night at her Juhu residence. Her body was taken to postmortem at Cooper Hospital in Juhu. Talking about Jiah, a source told a leading daily, "She had been depressed for some time due to personal issues, but was keen on returning to acting soon. She was also meeting filmmakers regarding projects." Actress Dia Mirza was the one who broke Jiah Khan's suicide news on Twitter.

Jiah Khan made her Bollywood debut opposite superstar Amitabh Bachchan in Ram Gopal Varma's Nishabd. She was also seen in Aamir Khan's Ghajini. The last movie she did was Sajid Khan's Housefull.
