Why Sonam Kapoor agreed to do Bhaag Milkha Bhaag?

Mumbai: Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor, who is playing a small role in Rakeysh Ompraksh Mehra's biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, says that she agreed to be the part of this film because of Farhan Akhtar.

Sonam Kapoor says that she is a huge fan of actor-director Farhan Akhtar and she signed Bhaag Milkha Bhaag because of Farhan and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Sonam told PTI "When I got the opportunity to work with him, I was more than happy. Even if its a small chance, to share a small frame with him, even if he does not direct me or works with me again, I can tell everyone I worked with Farhan.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is based on the life of athlete Milkha Singh. It is said that legendary Milkha Singh charged just only Rs1 to let Rakeysh Ompraksh Mehra make a biopic on him.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag will hit the screens on 12th July.
