Akhil Kapur, Vinod Khanna's nephew Set For Bollywood Debut

Nephew of veteran actor Vinod Khanna, Akhil Kapur is going make his Bollywood debut with the film Desi Kattey. The movie is a tale of two friends who start working in a pistol making factory at an early age and knows everything needed to became a sharp shooter.

Akhil will essay the role of Pali, a gangster in the film who is passionate about his relationships. Being a martial arts performer the actor will also be seen doing action sequence in the movie.

In his debut film, Akhil Kapur will share screen space with Sunil Shetty. One film old, actor Jay Bhanushali will play the role of Akhil's friend in the movie.

Akhil said that he don't want to do romantic film, as he wants to showcase his martial arts skills on the big screen. The actor is born and bought in Dubai, but shifted his base to Mumbai couple of years go and is not new to the film industry. He was an assistant director in films like Honeymoon Pvt Ltd, Salaam-E-Ishq and Gandhi My Father.

Film Desi Kattey is directed and produced by Anand Kumar and is scheduled to release on September 12, 2014.
