Akshay Kumar Casts 'Sivaji' Suman In Gabbar

Suman Talwar, who was known for his roles in southern movies, is on cloud nine as he got an great opportunity to be in a major Hindi film, Gabbar, produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The fact that its male lead Superstar Akshay Kumar referred him for this film doubles his happiness.

Telugu director Krrish directs this action thriller which is loosely based on the Tamil blockbuster 'Ramana'. The film is a different take on one man's fight against corrupt system. Kareena Kapoor and Shruti Haasan are the two female leads of this film on which Akshay has great expectations.

An excited Suman said, ""I received quite a few Bollywood offers after my performance in 'Sivaji', but nothing excited me as much as 'Gabbar'. When I came to know that Akshay Kumar had referred my name to the director, I was really touched and extremely happy. I would like to thank him for the opportunity."

Suman, earlier, had achieved his share of fame through the major villain role in Rajnikanth's all time blockbuster Sivaji. Suman revealed that he has high hopes from Gabbar. He further explained, " It's not every day that you get opportunities to work in Bollywood. I hope 'Gabbar' helps me make a mark in the industry. I expect it to be a turning point in my career."

Suman, a 54 year old veteran actor of South film industry, is famous for his roles in Sivaji, Kuruvi, Bindaas and Asal.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali producing Gabbar will be the next big release of Akshay Kumar.
