Alia Bhatt turns singer for HSKD

Actress Alia Bhatt has turned singer again. This time Alia will lend her voice for the unplugged version of the soulful track Samjhawan from her upcoming film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. This new version sung by Alia will be titled Samjhawan Unplugged.

Singer Arjit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal lent their voice for the original track in the film. Infact, the song is a remake of Main Tenu Samjhawan ki which was sung by Rahet Fateh Ali Khan for the Punjabi film Virsa.

The song Samjhawan Unplugged will be released online this weekend. This is not the first time when Alia Bhatt will be singing in her film. The bubbly actress made her singing debut with the film Highway.

Alia will again be seen with actor Varun Dhawan in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania after the duo made their Bollywood debut with the film Student of the Year.

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, film will hit theaters on July 11, 2014.
