Film-maker
Anurag
Kashyap
has
been
very
ambitious
about
his
upcoming
movie
Bombay
Velvet
starring
Ranbir
Kapoor
and
Anushka
Sharma
and
is
leaving
no
stone
unturned
to
offer
this
as
one
of
his
best
pieces.
However,
with
possibility
of
another
much-awaited
flick
PK
directed
by
Rajkumar
Hirani
and
starring
Aamir
Khan
being
released
on
the
same
Christmas
day,
Anurag
does
not
seem
much
pleased.
Director
Anurag
Kashyap
has
expressed
strong
discontent
on
actor
Aamir
Khan
and
director
Rajkumar
Hirani
when
he
learnt
that
the
duo
have
decided
to
release
the
movie
PK
on
the
same
day
as
planned
by
Anurag
in
advance
for
Bombay
Velvet.
"I
heard
some
rumours
some
times
back
and
hence
called
Raju
(Rajkumar
Hirani)
and
told
him
to
let
me
know
in
advance
if
they
were
planning
to
release
the
film
on
Christmas.
At
that
time,
they
said
there
were
no
such
plans.
All
it
would
have
taken
is
just
a
phone
call," asserted
enraged
Anurag.
The
Bombay
Velvet
director
informed
that
he
received
no
call
from
the
PK
makers
about
the
film's
release
date
and
then
he
came
to
know
about
it
from
Aamir
Khan's
post
in
Twitter
informing
that
the
release
of
PK
has
been
postponed
from
June
6
to
December
25.
Anurag's
words
clearly
indicated
that
he
is
feeling
insecure
about
Bombay
Velvet's
fate
as
Aamir
Khan
starring
PK
which
is
likely
to
release
on
the
same
day
might
snatch
all
the
crowd.
"I
am
not
concerned
about
the
marketing
war
at
this
point.
But
it's
obvious
that
both
films
will
be
affected
if
they
release
on
the
same
day.
We
may
sort
that
out
at
a
later
stage," said
the
anxious
director.
The
emotional
director
further
added,
"It
hurts
because
I
respect
Raju
as
a
film-maker
and
as
a
person.
Apart
from
being
a
colleague,
he
is
also
a
good
friend." However,
Rajkumar
Hirani
could
not
be
contacted
for
any
remark.
Well,
now
only
time
can
decide
whether
it's
Anurag
Kashyap's
Bombay
Velvet
or
Rajkumar
Hirani's
PK
which
will
steal
the
show
but
we
wish
both
the
director's
have
a
Merry
Christmas
coming.
