Arjun Kapoor's Emotional Affair!

Arjun Kapoor who is emotionally attached to his mother, has reportedly kept his late mother Mona Shourie Kapoor's room as it is, with Chetan Bhagat's book 2 States lying intact on her book shelf. He stars in the movie adaptation of the book.

Mona Kapoor lost the battle against cancer on March 25, 2012, before her son's debut film Ishaqzaade hit the theatres. Arjun will be returning to Mumbai for his mom's second death anniversary from Agra.

Arjun has kept his mother's room untouched and it includes the book 2 States on her shelf even now, said a statement.

Mona Kapoor is said to have mentioned to her son during her sickness that she would love to see him do a romantic comedy. If not in her presence, Arjun will now be seen acting in the genre based on one of her favourite books.

The novel is said to be inspired from the real-life story of Chetan Bhagat himself, whose wife Anusha is from the South while he himself is from the North. Be it for the huge following Chetan has or the rumoured affair between Alia and Arjun in real life or for the sizzling chemistry between these two young stars. The film sure will make a big box office hit.

The film 2 States is directed by Abhishek Varman which also features Alia Bhatt.
