Birthday Wishes To Ajay Devgn!

Ajay Devgn turns a year older today, with his Action Jackson and Singham 2 which are yet to release this year, the action hero celebrates his 45th birthday.

This actor, producer, director has established himself as one of the leading actors in hindi cinema. Ajay Devgn born as Vishal Veeru Devgan and son of stunt and action choreographer Veeru Devgan, began his career with Phool Aur Kaante in the year 1991 and has not stopped looking back.

Ajay's debut film with Madhoo earned him a Filmfare award for 'Best Male debut'. The movie was a super hit in box office which was loosely based on a malayalam film.

Ajay Devgn recognised as action star was quick to break his stereotype roles and ventured into a lot of roles. Ajay has done many critically acclaimed films. Prakash Jha's Gangajal, Raajneeti, Milan Lutheria's Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, Priyadarshan's Aakrosh are to name a few. Though he has added many films which have made huge success, he has also equally given some box office duds.

Ajay Devgn married Bollywood actress Kajol in the year 1999 and the media have branded them 'unlikely pair' due to their contrasting personalities. Ajay Devgn is also known to shun away awards and says, "I don't believe in film awards. I have always made it a point to never take those awards, They (the organisers of private awards) need maximum number of stars to attend their ceremony, so they call you up and tell you that if you attend their event, they will give you an award. So what is the point of getting an award only if you will attend the show? And if you are unable to make it at the last minute ... the chit with the name of the winner changes and another actor gets the trophy. I have lost faith in such ceremonies."
