Bollywood Has Nothing To Be Proud Of: Naseeruddin Shah

Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah recently stated that the Bollywood film industry till date has done nothing worthy and the Indian film directors are best at fooling the audience.

The versatile actor Naseeruddin Shah expressed deep resentment about how Bollywood has been running and the quality of outcome it has been serving to its audience. According to Shah, bollywood film industry has a serious dearth of good stories and it has not achieved anything till date on which it can feel proud of.

"There always has been a scarcity of good stories in Bollywood and the only reason these films receive audience rush is because of Indian dhabas and similar communal viewing spaces all over the world. In reality, this industry has not done anything till date on which it can boost upon," said the Ishqiya actor, Naseeruddin Shah.

The highly acclaimed actor, Naseeruddin Shah further slammed the directors in the industry claiming that the Bollywood directors are very smart in fooling the naive audience. "The easiest thing in the world is to fool the audience and Bollywood directors have got expertise in that,", said Shah.

Naseeruddin Shah opined that very few actors including Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan could bag some good films and roles into their pockets which can be considered superlative in the field.

Some of the upcoming movies of Naseeruddin Shah include Finding Fanny Fernandes, Bombay Velvet, The Falling, Shoonya and some others.
