Chetan Bhagat Wants Alia Bhatt Again In His Next Adaptation!

Following success of the movie 2 States, based on Chetan Bhagat's best-seller of the same name, the novelist is all set for the film adaptation of his recent novel 'Revolution 2020'.

Moreover, Chetan is full willing to see actress Alia Bhatt yet again in the next adaptation who played the female lead character in the film 2 States as well.

Chetan Bhagat's novel Revolution 2020 is a story about three young people, two male and one female, while Chetan feels Alia Bhatt can very well fit into the female character named Aarti.

"We are looking for two actors and one actress since the story revolves around three young people. Alia is a fabulous actress and after watching 2 States, I feel she can fit into the character of any heroine I conceptualise. Yes, she would be perfect to play the role of Aarti but nothing has been decided as yet," says Chetan Bhagat. Alia Bhatt played the role of Ananya in 2 States and the film is based on Chetan Bhagat's own love story.

Chetan Bhagat also said that he won't be writing the screen play of his next adaptation as he has vested the responsibility to the film's director Rajkumar Gupta. "I will be involved with this film but this time I chose not to write the screenplay because I get too close to the content," asserted the novelist. Chetan also informed that he along with the director will decide on the castings within a month.

Chetan Bhagat's 'Revolution 2020' happens to be a love triangle with a political angle and includes three lead characters, Gopal, Aarti and Raghav.

It is to mention, this will be Rajkumar Gupta's second work with Chetan Bhagat as the film Kai Po Che directed by Gupta was also an adaptation of Bhagat's another hit novel, 'The 3 Mistakes Of My Life'.
