David Dhawan: No Offence To Katrina Kaif

The maker of Bollywood's knee-slapper films, David Dhawan, was in news since last week for wrong reasons. Besides his film Main Tera Hero is releasing, the director had made some funny remarks about Katrina Kaif and her ex-flame Salman Khan.

Both Katrina and Salman are good friends of the director who made a good number of blockbusters in his career. The reason for the present situation is a hilarious one liner by Raju Kher in David's upcoming film, Main Tera Hero. The one line is about the lack of Katrina's command over Hindi Language.

But Dhawan says that there will be no controversy regarding this because Katrina has a sense of humour. He said, "It is just an off-the-cuff remark, a bantering quip in the film, and Katrina is a girl I've known for many years. In fact she did her first big film Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya with Salman and me. She can never be offended with what I do. She knows it's all in fun."

Dhawan poked fun at Salman last week saying that his son, Varun, won't get married until Sallu bhai does! He revealed that he was just kidding, "I was just doing some masti with my son. I don't see any likelihood of Salman getting married. So I was kidding about Varun staying a bachelor."

Main Tera Hero featuring Dhawan's son Varun, Ileana D'Cruz and Nargis Fakhri is all set to hit the screens on April 4.
