Deepika, Katrina Not Interested In Period Films?

Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have become number one choice of the film directors and thus, both the beautiful actresses have no interest in doing period films now.

According to a source, actress Deepika Padukone has rejected director Ashutosh Gowarikar's upcoming period movie Mohenjo-daro as the diva claims she has a packed schedule with three movies Happy New Year, Shuddhi and Window Seat already in hand.

Meanwhile, Gowarikar who also knocked Katrina Kaif for the same film had to hear no from her as well with the same reason. Katrina currently is set with upcoming movies like Bang Bang, Jagga Jasoos and Fitoor.

The source informed that Gowarikar was mostly keen to cast Deepika for the movie but the director had to return with empty hands as Deepika is hard to be casted for the next 2 years.

It is to mention, Deepika has worked with Gowarikar previously with the movie Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey which however, could not have any impact on the box office.

Well, it seems Gowarikar would have to settle down with some less popular actress for his upcoming period film as the Bollywood hot shot divas are now hard to catch.
