Now, to add more uniqueness to the film, the director has decided to rope in Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta opposite to Deepika Padukone. It has been learnt that the director of Piku felt Jisshu to be fiiting perfectly in the role.
Having been casted along with stars like Big B and Irrfan Khan, plus to romance with Deepika, Jisshu seems super excited. "It's a big break with a director I really admire and with actors I really love. It has been my dream to work with Mr. Bachchan from the time I decided to be an actor. Moreover, Irrfan ji is another actor I truly admire and for Deepika, she is everyone's dream girl these days," said the Bengali star Jisshu.
It is to be recalled, Jisshu was first seen in Bollywood in a guest apperance for the movie Barfi. Moreover, the Bengali actor also has another Bollywood flick Mardaani in which he will be seen playing the role of Rani Mukherjee's husband.
