Did Ek Villain As Genelia Wanted Me To Play A Negative Role

Actor Ritesh Deshmukh is riding high on the success of his latest film E Villain. Actor is receiving lot of appreciation for his role as Rakesh Mahadkar in Ek Villain. Ritesh did more of comedy films in his career said, that it was his actress wife Genelia D'Souza asked him to do try a different kind of role.

Actor said, "Genelia always tells me to do a negative role or a darker shade. When ‘Ek Villain' was offered to me I just thought this is it. Everyone came together."

Ek Villain stars actor Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor but Ritesh grabbed all the limelight. Directed by Mohit Suri, Ek Villain has received opening at the box office.

Well, surely this is the high time for actor Ritesh Deshmukh as last week his film Humshakals got thumbs up from the audience even though the film was not appreciated from critics.
