The
girl
from
a
Nawab
family,
Soha
Ali
Khan
recently
made
a
statement
that
picking
Dil
Maange
More
as
her
debut
film
was
a
big
mistake.
Soha
was
well-praised
for
her
role
in
the
movie
Rang
De
Basanti
(2006)
which
fetched
her
IIFA
and
GIFA
awards
as
best
supporting
actress.
However,
the
royal
lady
seems
somewhat
dissatisfied
with
her
growth
graph
in
the
industry
in
comparison
to
other
counterparts
and
she
supposedly
puts
the
blame
on
her
debut
film
Dil
Maange
More
(2004).
The
35-years-old
actress
says,
"I
still
don't
know
why
I
chose
to
make
my
debut
with
Dil
Maange
More.
It
was
definitely
a
wrong
decision."
Soha
who
is
currently
dating
actor
Kunal
Khemu
further
added,
"I
was
fresh
to
Bollywood
at
that
time
and
had
no
idea
about
hero-heroine
dynamics
in
India."
Although
Soha
is
still
unsure
as
to
why
she
picked
up
the
film
but
she
could
hint
on
one
reason
for
the
2004
'mistake'.
She
found
the
role
to
be
progressive
as
the
heroine
in
the
film
chooses
a
career
over
her
boyfriend,
yet
Soha
was
quick
to
add
that
the
decision
proved
terrible.
Se
further
added,
"when
I
was
asked
to
choose
a
character
out
of
the
three
roles
in
Dil
Maange
More,
I
chose
Neha
because
she
is
ambitious.
At
a
tender
age
of
21
years
she
chooses
career
over
her
boyfriend.
But
it
was
a
wrong
decision
because
in
Hindi
films,
actresses
keep
their
partners
over
any
other
thing," said
the
War
Chhod
Na
Yaar
actress.
With
all
said
and
done,
it
can
be
supposed
that
Soha
is
attributing
her
'not
so
successful'
Bollywood
career
to
her
launching
flick
Dil
Maange
More
which
had
three
ladies
in
the
lead
role,
including
Soha,
Tulip
Joshi
and
Ayesha
Takia
opposite
to
Shahid
Kapoor.
Nevertheless,
Soha
who
has
a
couple
of
upcoming
films
in
her
pocket
like
Tera
Kya
Hoga
Jhony,
Chaurahen-
Crossroads,
Life
Goes
On
and
Chemistry
expressed
gladness
that
Hindi
films
have
developed
over
time
and
she
is
blessed
to
play
strong
roles.
Well
Soha,
as
a
common
proverb
goes
'All
is
well
that
ends
well'
and
now
as
you
claiming
better
roles
than
'2004
Neha',
we
can
hope
that
you
do
not
need
to
repent
ever
again.
