Upcoming
movie
Bombay
Velvet
starring
actor
Ranbir
Kapoor
stressed
that
film-makers
and
stories
are
more
important
now
than
the
actors
performing
in
those
films.
Talking
with
media
on
the
sets
of
Bombay
Velvet,
the
charming
actor
emphasised
on
the
importance
of
good
scripts
and
direction
and
also
highly
praised
the
work
of
his
co-actress
in
the
movie
Anushka
Sharma.
"Today
film-makers
and
stories
are
more
important
than
actors
or
stars
and
I
think
that's
the
way
it
should
be.
If
I
work
with
Anurag
Kashyap,
Anurag
Basu
or
Imtiaz
Ali,
it
is
only
me
who
will
be
benefitted
rather
than
me
benefitting
them," said
Ranbir.
The
Rockstar
hero
also
came
up
with
congratulating
words
for
the
actress
Anushka
Sharma
saying
that
the
audience
will
be
blown
away
by
her
performance
in
the
movie
Bombay
Velvet.
"It
was
great
working
with
Anushka.
She
has
not
been
on
screen
for
a
long
time
now
but
you
guys
will
be
blown
away
by
her
performance,"
said
the
actor.
Talking
about
his
role
in
Anurag
Kashyap's
Bombay
Velvet,
the
supposed
Katrina
Kaif's
boyfriend,
Ranbir
said
that
this
has
been
the
most
emotionally
challenging
role
that
the
actor
ever
played.
"More
than
physical,
Bombay
Velvet
is
more
emotionally
challenging
for
me.
It
is
a
very
intense
role
and
I
have
never
been
in
such
a
role
ever
before.
But
every
role
has
its
own
challenges
and
Anurag
is
a
delight
to
work
with,"
he
asserted.
Ranbir
further
added
that
although
he
has
done
lots
of
romantic
films
but
Bombay
Velvet
is
the
most
romantic
film
he
has
done
till
date.
"This
is
a
very
commercial
film.
Classes
and
masses
will
like
it.
I
hope
people
give
Bombay
Velvet
a
chance
so
that
they
can
experience
a
fresh
story,"
said
Ranbir.
The
charming
Kapoor
also
informed
that
if
everything
goes
by
plan,
Bombay
Velvet
is
scheduled
to
release
on
December,
while
the
first
promo
will
be
launched
after
July.
