Ek Villain Has Opened Doors For Me, Says Ritesh

Actor Ritesh Deshmukh who has won many accolade for his role in the film EK Villain, feels that as an actor this film has widened horizons for him.

Ritesh said, "Ek Villain' is an important film because when a film of this genre and such a dark character given to me works, then probably doors to play (more) such characters will open."

The actor was present at the success party of Ek Villain said, that even though he is appreciated for the negative and serious role, he will not quit doing comedy. Ritesh has done more of comedy films in his career.

Ritesh said, "I hope to play characters apart from what I do in comic roles. But of course, I will do comedies." The Ek Villain actor said that he look at the character and content offered to him.

Ritesh is riding high after he gave two back to back hits at the box office. Before seeing Ritesh's grey side in Ek Villain, actor was seen doing comedy in Humshakals which was released a week before of Ek Villain.

Ritesh Deshmukh shared screen with actor Saif Ali Khan and Ram Kapoor in Humshakals, which was directed by Sajid Khan.
