Ek Villain Poster A Ripoff Again

Bollywood films copying from foreign movies is old news. Now, the latest is copying of posters. Ek Villain by Mohit Suri starring Sidhrath and Shraddha Kapoor have released two posters till now. It is shocking that both their posters are direct ripoff of Hollywood flicks.

When there are lot of creative people in the entertainment industry it is so shocking to see people copy even the posters for their films. In the era, when there was no internet, Bollywood films used to copy movies, songs, background score, action scenes, plots and almost everything.

All these have reduced though since the emergence of Internet where people can even find out if a poster has been copied due to the vast and rapid flow of knowledge.

One would think that Bollywood producers might now stop plagiarism but no.. there are still some hacks who not only copy the entire plot but also copy dialogues, characters and even lift an entire scene. Getting inspired by Hollywood flicks is completely different from copying it blatantly.

Hope the Ek Villain team will realize that before they come up with their next poster release.
