First Look Of Alia, Arjun's 2 States

Alia Bhatt must be on cloud nine for the positive and encouraging response her latest release Highway, directed by Imtiaz Ali, is getting. Now the poster of her upcoming film 2 States is also launched to great fanfare. The movie in which Alia romances her rumoured off-screen pair, Arjun Kapoor is based on a bestselling novel of the same name, written by Chetan Bhagat.

Arjun Kapoor and Alia will be seen as a couple who tries their level best to impress each other's parents and relatives to make their marriage possible. Abhishek Varman is (debut) directing this romance film which satires the cultural traditions persist in South and Northern part of India.

The innovative first look poster of the film depicts two lovers who are from two different part of the country trying to reach out to each other. Arjun is seen as from the north part of Map which clearly shows that Arjun is the Punjabi protagonist of the film and Alia's character is from South India.

Alia is enacting the role of Tamil Brahmin girl in this Chetan Bhagat written film. The fun infused romantic film 2 States is scheduled to hit the cinemas on April 18. Produced by her mentor Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala, the film will be a treat for Alia fans this summer.
