Haider Proved Most Challenging For Me: Shahid Kapoor

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has recently finished off shooting for his upcoming movie Haider which according to Shahid proved to be the most challenging film for him as an actor.

Soon after completing shooting for the movie, Shahid Kapoor took to the Twitter where he posted, "It's a wrap on Haider. Only when you play Hamlet you realise what a complex part it is. Probably my toughest yet."

Shahid Kapoor will be seen in the titular role in the adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet while, new-comer Shraddha Kapoor will be opposite to Shahid. The movie Haider has been directed by Vishal Bharadwaj and major part of the movie was done in Kashmir and is scheduled to release on September 12. Other stars include Irrfan Khan, Tabu and Kay Kay Menon.

It is to mention, shooting for the movie Haider received some disruptions owing to protests in Kashmir University. However, the film-makers met with the J&K CM, Omar Abdullah and assured him that the film has nothing which can hurt sentiments of the native people.
