Hero's Release Date Is Yet To Be Decided

Actor Salman Khan has turned producer with the film Hero. Sooraj, the son of actor Aditya Pancholi will be making his Bollywood debut with this film. As per reports, Salman Khan wanted to complete the shooting of the film before deciding the release date of the film.

Sources close to Salman said, "Salman had called a meeting with the director Nikhil Advani and others concerned, last week to decide on a release date. However, it was decided that no release date would be decided until the film's climax was shot."

Film is the remake of Subhash Ghai's film Hero. Sooraj Pancholi is paired opposite Athiya Shetty, daughter of Sunil Shetty.

Nikhil Advani is directing the film which is expected to release in the early 2015. These days most of the filmmakers lock the release date of their films before completing the shoot, but Salman has decided to announce the release date after completing the shooting of the film.

Salman's decision of not announcing the release date before completing the shooting has come as a change when most of the filmmakers lock the dates for their films much in advance.

For example, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has announced the release date of his film Bajirao Mastani. Bhansali said that Bajirao Mastani will hit the threatres on December 25, 2015. However, the shooting of the film is yet to start.

Not only Bhasali, but filmmaker Karan Johar also announced the release date of his film Shuddhi even before finalizing the cast of the film.
